It is formed by letting down the pressure of liquid CO2 through a nozzle or other bottleneck. An amount of the liquid CO2 passing through the nozzle vaporizes and sub-cools the remaining fluid. Hence, it is reborn into snow-like particles which are known as "Dry Ice".
BIG Group manufactures Automatic Dry Ice machines ranging from 50 kg/hr to 2000 kg/hr. The press works on a hydraulic system with a fully automated PLC console.
